OUR GOAL: To provide a welcoming and inclusive environment to support Georgia-based cadets attending either the Academy or the Prep School and their families.
HOW WE DO THIS: In short, we share all the information we possibly can about navigating this monumental commitment that each family's cadet(s) have undertaken. We honor their service and commitment. Through paid memberships available to all eligible families and legal guardians, our club hosts a number of events to promote a sense of community and shared experience. The club relies on our members to be active participants in the club's success. Several are volunteer members of the board, and an even larger percentage are active volunteers in our club-hosted events and programs. Activities that are sponsored by the club are listed on the Activities/Events page and include, but are not limited to, monthly board conference calls, a yearly all-members meeting, numerous information-sharing conference calls at key milestones, and annual orientation programs plus other club get-togethers.
CLUB LEADERSHIP: The club's board consists of volunteers from our membership. Some volunteer for a year; others stay for the entire time their cadet is enrolled. If you are interested in volunteering as a member of the board, please contact us to voice your interest. The club always welcomes new volunteers to maintain its momentum year after year. Typically, elections are held at the all-members annual meeting in January, but many committees are happy to have the help throughout the year.
